Soundtraxx DSX installed in tender of a 4-8-2, a DZ-121 is installed in the loco (not shown).

The loco had 69" drivers with 33" tender wheels, since the tender wheels are within 5% of half the driver diameter, a two lobed cam on a tender wheel keeps good sync with the loco.  It's not in perfect sync, but closed enough.
