Soundtraxx DSD-C628LC and Zimo MX-61/N 2000 installed in C-628.  I wanted full lighting effects as well as great motor control with BEMF and silent drive.   Zimo decoder is under the LC, above the front flywheel.  The LED flying off the front will be mounted in the nose of the loco as the gyralight.

The number board LEDs are mapped to both F0 & F6 so that the number boards are on if the headlight is on (either bright or dim), but also if you turn off the headlight and enable the dimmer (nothing actually dims as the headlight is off) then the number board lights can be on by them selves with out dedicating a function number just for them. To do that, I had to turn the Rule 17 bit on the Hyperlight CV for the headlight (CV49), to allow the headlight output to respond to FX1 function mapping to allow it to be activated by F6.  For the class lights, I replaced the Soundtraxx SMT LEDs with 300 MCD versions for www.eLED.com.
